The historic buildings at the Britannia Mine Museum will be filled with the awesome
sounds of traditional Japanese drumming.
Sansho Taiko will be here from Vancouver for two special performances, 11am and 2pm on Saturday March 10th. There will also be
a chance to try drumming yourself. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity.
This show is absolutely free for members or with regular museum admission.

Fun activities led by our interpreters every day at 11am and 2pm. These family friendly programs will be themed around Japanese culture to support our temporary exhibit, Stolen Lives: Remembering the Japanese Canadian Internment.
Come and learn about traditional Japanese origami, Japanese Kites, drumming and more.
